The revolutionary Flextank system of winemaking was meticulously engineered to give a precision level of linear micro-oxygenation in multiple tank options. This enables winemakers to control various levels of oxygen transfer rate (OTR) which is essential in winemaking.
The semipermeable polymer tank walls have a specific gradient for allowing oxygen molecules to move through the vessel and into the beverage providing micro-oxygenation. However, the molecules you want to retain, such as ethanol and water, are blocked and do not escape a Flextank wall like they do in a traditional barrel. This makes constant cellar humidity monitoring and angel’s share a thing of the past!

Principally designed as a small batch closed fermentor the APOLLO™ tank may also be used for long term storage. As a fermentor the Apollo offers a number of advantages over open bin ferments.

Easy To Handle: Apollo is easily manipulated by hand and can be quite stable at intermediate positions. The lifting apparatus can range from the sophisticated to a simple sling suspended from a forklift.
Once fermentation is complete Apollo serves as a long term storage (similar oxygen permeability to a neutral barrel) or general purpose tank for the winery. Replace those bin fermentors with Apollo and enjoy better fermentation conditions and year round use.

The ORION Tank is the Big Brother to our Apollo Egg Fermentor

Principally designed as a 2 ton closed fermentor, the ORION Tank may also be used for long term storage. As a fermentor, the ORION offers a number of advantages over open bin ferments.
The Orion has molded in recesses in the bottom of the tank that index into protrusions on the base. The Tank is molded in natural translucent white with the included Pallet Base in black. The Pallet Base has a pass through hole on center in which the Orion can be accessed from underneath and fitted with an optional 4'' or 2'' cleanout.
Top lid: 28'' diameter polyethylene lid fitted with an inflatable gasket and hand pump. 2'' NPT threads except our blank bung and FL1 (included).

STACKER TANKS

These tanks feature a stacking cage that allows convenient movement or stacking with a fork truck. The tanks may also be elevated on a fork truck to facilitate gravity racking.
Space Efficient.
The 40 x 48 in. (1000 x1200 mm) footprint and 3 high (4 high for 120 Gallon) stacking allows the equivalent of up to 15 barrels of wine to be stored in just 13.3 sq. ft. or 1.2 sq. m. In the typical winery situation storage is at least twice as space efficient with these tanks compared with stacked barrels.
