Vines to Vintages
was launched in 1999 as an independent wine laboratory performing
analysis for wineries in both Canada and the United States. Vines
to Vintages expanded in 2007 taking over Funk Winemaking Supplies
and providing full winery start-up and winemaking consultation in
both Niagara and Prince Edward County.
We are constantly updating
and adding to our product line to provide our valued customers the
absolute best in quality products and service for the small and large wineries and
amateur winemakers.

Natalie
established Vines to Vintages in 1999 as an independent
laboratory for wineries across Canada and the U.S. As her interests evolved to winemaking, one thing became
very obvious; winemaking really does start in the vineyard. In
early 2001 Natalie joined Angels Gate Winery and in 2003 she put
Vines to Vintages "on hold" to focus on winemaking full
time. This appreciation for quality grapes evolved to hundreds of
award winning wines. In 2007
Natalie left Angels Gate and with Darryl Fields, re-opened Vines
and Vintages as a one-stop shop for supplies, analysis, consultation
and assistance to both amateurs winemakers and wineries. She
can now be found doing what she loves to do best, “making and
enjoying quality Niagara wines".”
Darryl
Fields, Vice President and Creative Director of “Darryl’s
Barrels”
Darryl came into the
industry to work with Martin Malivoire of Malivoire Wine Company
as property manager overseeing vineyard and winery development. His abilities to oversee and manage “the big picture”
and provide great customer service has been a driving force in his
14 year career. After
seven years at Malivoire, Darryl joined Angels Gate
Winery as General Manager. His “hands on, machine off approach” lead to improved
grape quality and a new high in sales. Darryl can now be found
doing what he does best, "running the big picture" servicing
wineries and home winemakers as well as deconstructing old barrels and creating new, unique
furniture.
Rebecca
(Becca) Wilmes, Wine Supply Specialist and Leader of Customer
Service
Rebecca has been with
Vines to Vintages since August 2010 and brings 10 years of vineyard experience from
her family vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She is a graduate of the Vineyard and Winery Technician
program at Niagara College. She
has also worked in wine cellars in British Columbia and
Niagara-on-the-Lake honing her wine loving skills. Rebecca’s knowledge is now being used to help others. She can be found doing what she does best “helping
customers create their best wines ever".

Funk Winemaking Supplies for 20 years, servicing the home winemakers and small wineries. Mary's
desire to start slowing down resulted in her passing the reigns on to us and
she can now can be found doing what she does best, “being an
Angel sharing her time and helping out in the store".

appearances to help out with packaging, labelling, stocking shelves
and doing finishing touches on barrel furniture.
